
Do you have a favorite hill? We have found a few of Utah’s favorites climbs and we are challenging you to get to the top! Go out any time any day by yourself or with your buddies and track your times usingStrava. Using your Strava data we will rank you against others on the same climb. You can compete against your best time or those of others. Sign up for Strava and join the My Reason To Ride Strava club and we will track your progress and rank you against other riders. We will be giving away free swag to the to the top 5 individuals on the leader board each week. At the end of the season the top 10 ranked individuals will come out to an official hill climb event to compete one against another to defend their times for amazing prizes donated by our sponsors.
The Mt. Nebo Century Challenge is one of Utah’s most challenging road courses. The course was picked for it’s level of difficulty in order to parallel those challenges faced by those it benefits. This ride is no Sunday stroll! Those that participate will push themselves to new levels climbing the Nebo pass, crossing through the Uinta National Forest and climbing to a staggering height of over 9300 feet. So come prepared or stay home!!! It won’t be easy, but it will be worth it.
The Mt. Nebo scenic byway, normally thought of as a quiet and lazy “sunday drive”, will take on a whole new meaning when conquered from the seat of your bike. Take the challenge and ride this memorable route, featuring part of the 2010 Tour of Utah course. Enjoy panoramic views of Utah Valley, the Wasatch Mountains, Utah Lake, and an up close and personal view of Mt. Nebo, the tallest mountain in the Wasatch Range. The course crosses the Uinta National Forest between the cities of Payson and Nephi rising to a staggering height of over 9,300 feet. Leaving Nephi riders pass through beautiful Goshen Canyon, one of Utah’s rare and hidden gems. This is a fully supported charitable ride. The Huntsman 140 is a non-competitive ride from Delta, Utah, to the doors of Huntsman Cancer Institute (HCI) in Salt Lake City. Registration is $25 which includes aid stations, course support, lunch and finish line celebration with a $500 fundraising minimum per cyclist to receive cycling jersey and sponsors swag.
